MOTO stands for Mail Order / Telephone Order.
This MasterCard and Visa bankcard rate is only for merchant accounts that do not have a credit or debit card present and are mail or phone order transactions.
There can be only one electronic authorization or one authorization plus an authorization reversal to make the authorization amount equal to the settled amount for these merchant accounts.
MOTO merchant accounts require that an address verification request must be performed on the cardholder's billing zip code; a match is not required for credit card processing acceptance.
Credit card transactions must be settled within two days.
MOTO merchant accounts must settle amount equal to authorized amount.
